Time for a little up date. Sorry it has taken so long but it took me this long to get readjusted to life in NB. We had a great time visiting our family & friends back in Edmonton, it was just too bad we didn't get more time with everyone but I guess that is what happens when the whole family (except Nathan) get the Norwalk virus---what can only be explained as the worst flu ever.
The first week back in Edmonton went well... well as can be with me needing an emergency trip to the chiropractor to fix my neck which I couldn't move, mom going into the emergency to get a shot of demerol to fix her aching butt, followed by some serious muscle relaxers and the dog (Arizona) being diagnosed with a huge heart murmur.
Mom and Dad had the next two week off to spend with us and we did manage to get out a little. We even left Hannah home with Nan & Pop so we could do some fun stuff --- dinner for me with my moms group (my how we have changed and expanded--Congrats to Leanne on the arrival of Shayla and Angela on the arrival of Janessa (I am very glad I had the chance to meet your new girls) and Steve got to go to the Oilers vs Calgary game with Jimmy. Kristie was even kind enough to host a baby shower for Nathan and I on the 30th, which gave me the opportunity to see some old friends. Thanks to all for the wonderful gifts.
The next week didn't fair as well with all of us getting so sick, but we had recuperated enough to have Nathan baptized on October 8th at the base church. He was beautiful in his gown (hard to believe it is 31 years old now... all the kids on Moms side have worn it starting with Brent.)
Before we left mom had Hannah well trained ... she was drying the dishes, setting the table and talking non stop. I am sure that her uncles' memories will be more of "NO Brent" and "Bye Jimmy".
Time for me passed too fast and before I knew it we were at the airport for our flight home, but not before Hannah discovered the fountain and the joy of throwing money in it. It was very hard for me to leave again, but nice to know that we will be seeing Mom & Dad in Feb. when they come to babysit (so Steve & I can attend Jimmy's wedding in Jamacia--Thanks again mom & dad for offering your grandparenting services). We had a short lay over in Montreal so Steve's Mom and stepdad were able to meet Nathan and see Hannah again.
I have to say, it was hard to leave our family and friends behind but it sure felt nice to be home in our KING sized bed again.

Mission Impossible "COMPLETED"
From an unfinished chimney to a water leak and a over booked rental truck we got it done. It started a little slow with U-Haul over booking the rental truck. But Jen came through after a few phone call she got us another truck and things got on the way. Jimmy friends slowly showed up after about 15 phone calls and text message later they pickup a few box and things got on the way. We manage to fit all of there furniture into a 17' truck, needless to say there wasn't much room left when we close that door. Every one else’s vehicle had full trunk and Jimmy Dodge look like a Gypsy wagon!!!
