Just to compare again.
Both kids at 9 months loving to do the same thing..... stare out the window at everyone passing by. Nosiness must be in the genes. One noticeable difference-- Hannah has two teeth and Nathan is still all gums.
Nathan into everything.
This kid goes non stop. He just loves standing up and is able to transition from object to object very well. He had such fun under the table.
Cozy Coupe
What fun. Hannah and Nathan discovered the joy of sharing the cozy coupe. Nathan was so happy to be pushed around by his big sister. He would cry when ever she stopped. They laughed so hard together it was priceless.
Nathan's war wound.
So we had a little mishap last week... Hannah decided that Nathan was not crawling fast enough so she gave him a little push... His chin hit the metal edging between our hardwood and tile floor and proceeded to bleed like a stuffed pig. OK, I admit it I panicked there was blood everywhere and I freaked Steve out by calling him home. Yes I am a nurse but it was more than I anticipated, Nathan screaming (the more he screamed the more blood), Hannah screaming (cause she knew she was in trouble) and the idea that my 9 month old might need stitches. Anyway by the time Steve arrived the bleeding had almost stopped and everyone was under control.
(So Kristie I will not laugh again at your "incidents" (although I did no physical damage to anything) as I know what it feels like, I do have to say however that at least mine involved blood and lots of it.)

Pool time

We took the kids to the base pool last week. It was the first time Nathan was in a pool, he had such a blast and Hannah rememered everything about the pool from the toys to the water slide and having a quick dunk in the large pool before heading home.... she has not been at the pool in one year. What a memory on her, she must get than from her mom and nan.

Here comes trouble!!!!

Well are we ever in trouble now.... Nathan has learnt to walk... with his walker mind you but he can do it all by himself. He learnt to crawl forward only two weeks ago and then this week he learnt to stand, by pulling himself up alone and then on Friday he discovered that he could walk around the house using his walker... He is literally into everything now.

Easter
Well we had a great Easter weekend... Steve's mom and step dad drove down from Montreal on Friday to spend a couple of days with us... Jeanne's birthday happened to be on Saturday so we got to celebrate with her as well.

We headed off to the Oromocto mall on Sat. morning for what was advertised as an Easter Egg event... It was the Easter bunny giving out eggs... Hannah not so happy with this as she is apparently terrified of the Big Bunny... Steve is right he does look scary. Anyway Nathan obliged and
took the photo but we could not convince Hannah to get within arm length of the thing... she did get some chocolate eggs so all was not lost.

(Nathan with a friendlier version of the Easter Bunny at the MFRC)
When we got home Hannah convinced grandma Jeanne to play in the snow with her and they made a few dozen snow castles.
Sunday was nice and relaxed... Hannah got to have an Easter egg hunt in the house... due to all the snow outside and it was a blast watching her search for the eggs, Nathan for his part slept through the egg hunt but did enjoy eating the plastic eggs later on. We had turkey and all the trimmings for supper and then Bob and I overall kicked Jeanne and Steve's butts at Double Sequence (we beat them in the afternoon 4-0 and they had a comeback that evening and won 4-3)

Jamaican memories that will last a lifetime.
We just wanted to share our news with all of you......
Our Jamaican vacation was more fruitfull than we had planned........

I guess we should have learned from when we got pregnant with Nathan.
P.S. For those of you who did not notice..... It is April 1st ... April fools... it is a joke. We are not pregnant. (Sorry Mom for causing you such stress, I love you!)
