HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year!!

We hope you all had a great 2007 and an even more wonderful 2008.

Christmas

We had the most wonderful Christmas this year!!! We were joined by my Mom and Dad, Uncle Brent and Auntie Megan, and Megan's parents Auntie Donna and Uncle Greg. My mom arrived early on the 13th to help me out getting ready for all the crowd and she got to spend a little extra time with the kids... Dad arrived 5 days later again to spend more time with the kids, Brent and the rest of the crew arrived on the 23rd. We saw the whole crew this year as Jeanne & Bob stopped by on their way through to Halifax and Noel and Anita had a unplanned stopped last week on their way through to Halifax as well. And while we were sight seeing in Halifax we managed to see Ken & Nancy, Joshua and Logan.

We had a great time and the house managed to fit us all without bursting at the seams... thanks in part to Steve's lovely table built for 10!!!

We took the gang in to Fredericton on the 24th for a visit to the mall... where Brent found a Wii.... needless to say we had a blast playing Wii... I never thought I'd see the day when my mom would be playing video games... and thanks to the Wii we even manage to burn off a few of the extra calories we were taking in.

Christmas morning was overwhelming to say the least.... Hannah was so cute, she was excited about all the gifts under the tree but wouldn't touch any until everyone was up. Nathan, was not so sure as to what was happening but he was very excited to discover what was in the first few boxes he opened and then he was done...he just wanted to play with his cars and baseball bat.

Christmas dinner was of course delicious thanks to every one's help.

On the 27th we headed out to show our guests a little more of the eastern county side as well as a visit to Halifax... the weather was not the best for our visit to Peggy's cove but at least they can all say that they experienced an Eastern winter storm!!! We cut our trip to NS short as Hannah was really not feeling well but Brent and the rest of his crew managed to visit a lobster plant (owned by a friend of Greg's), so a big THANKS goes to CAMERON Lobsters for the best supper on the 29th.

The rest of the weekend was nice and relaxed and the Wii was enjoyed by all.

The whole Gang headed back west on the afternoon of Monday Dec 31st, we weren't sure if they would make it out of here as we were being pummelled by a lovely snow storm... the second in just days... but just before flight time the skies cleared and they got off just fine.

It was hard to see them all leave but we know that we will be seeing them again in just a few months!!!
