Happy Halloween

Well who knew what fun halloween could be with a two year old. This week we carved pumpkins, roasted seeds and got all decked out for the festivities. Hannah really enjoyed last night. The music Steve had playing in the garage had her a little scared at the beginning but once out side with all the kids she had a blast. I was worried that she wouldn't like all the costumes but she really surprised me, she was mesmerized by so many kids. We dressed her up as a butterfly (she could even tell everyone what she was), mommy got to be a "housewife", daddy was a viking and Nathan was a future hockey player. Hannah dragged mommy all around the block to get her "trick r treats", not that she had much of a clue what she was getting but she would open her little bag for everyone to put treats in. I thought that after a few houses she would be done, but she kept saying "more mommy more". The best was a neighbour a few doors down... he had really gone all out for the night, music, decorations, lights, costume and all... Hannah was not so sure about that place she kept saying "Hannah scerd mommy, Hannah scerd". We eventually made it up the walk for the goodies (he took his mask off) but she told everyone around that his music was too loud and scary. (We weren't the only ones who were scared a few kids wouldn't even go up the driveway.) What a fun night. I'll up load pictures when the system works again.
